In 2022\, he was elected President of Africa Armwrestling and joined the World Armwrestling board\, roles through which he has helped secure armwrestling’s inclusion in the African Games and driven its expansion across the continent. \nAs Vice President of WAF\, he will continue working with the President and other executives to promote the sport globally\, with a focus on boosting participation\, improving competition standards\, and driving innovation. \nMr Osei Asibey’s re-election positions Ghana as a key player in the international armwrestling community and underscores the country’s rising influence in global sport.
