2022 Africa Armwrestling Championship slated for Lagos, Nigeria in July

The Africa Armwrestling Federation has confirmed that Nigeria will host the 2022 Africa Armwrestling Championship from July 19-25 at the Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.

The 11th edition of the continental showpiece will have about 300 pullers/armwrestlers from over 20 countries converge in Lagos over 5 days to engage in fierce Armwrestling battles to determine the best in the various weight categories.

Top countries like Mali, Egypt, Ghana, South Africa host Nigeria will ritually not be missing from the parade of top countries on the continent likes of Cameroon, Morocco, Senegal, Uganda, Togo, Benin, Cote D’voire, Seychelles, Mauritius, Sierra Leone, Niger, Madagascar, Burkina Faso and more.

Nigeria, a force in Armwrestling in Africa, last hosted the 8th Africa Armwrestling Championship in 2017 and will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Armwrestling in Nigeria.
